The Stadium

The Withdean Stadium is probably the poorest football ground in the Coca-Cola League Championship. Only seating just over 7,000 fans it is not suitable for a club of Brighton's stature.

Away fans are seated in a temporary stand which sometimes has an allocation for home fans also depending on how big a visiting team's following is.

Upon previous visits to the Withdean I have found Stewards to be very helpful and for the atmosphere to be generally a positive one- if not sometimes a little quiet.

Pubs...

One pub that away fans are always welcomed in is the Preston Brewery Tap, which is located one mile south of the stadium, on the main A23- which I am told is a very friendly place and that the locals will be up for some friendly banter.

As of yet I've not been told of anywhere to stay away from but I have been told that alcohol cannot be purchased inside the stadium.
