Reidy slams chairman.

Andy Reid has told the Sunday Mirror how he believes Nigel Doughty is not doing enough for his club, and how he feels that he is not fulfilling his promises.

"I'm desperate to play in the Premiership and want to do it with Forest. But I can see us heading for another relegation fight because no money is being spent.

The chairman is is just not coming up with the goods and its a shambles. We need at least three new players that will get us promoted, not just players making up the numbers.

Everybody here talks about promotion but absolutely nothing has been done about it. The club say they are ambitious but we have seen no evidence at all. We've had free transfers and thats it. We were promised sexy signings but where are they They can talk about the Premiership but why not do something about it."

This is very disturbing stuff as if the player's don't believe that we can do it- then who will? We need our chairman to start producing the goods and fast. At the back-end of last season he said he would be giving Kinnear all the cash he needs and if this is so, why has he spent next to nothing on young, in experienced players?

Come on Doughty, take get your wallet out. We're serious about promotion... are you?
