Andy Reid: Kinnear priced me out of a move.

Andy Reid has today told the media how he can only see himself playing in the Premiership if he leaves The City Ground. He has commented on the club's lack of ambition and has stated that he feels Joe Kinnear unfairly priced him out of the transfer market.
Nottingham Forest young midfield sensation and fully established Irish international Andy Reid, has spoken of how manager Joe Kinnear priced him out of a move. 'Reidy' handed in a formal transfer request to the club yesterday evening, after several bids from Tottenham Hotspur were rejected by the Reds.
As every other player, Andy has ambitions of playing in the top-flight. A move to Spurs would have seen him fulfill these, however, with the bids not being accepted, Reidy had no other choice than to ask for a move.
Two seasons ago Andy was just not getting a break in the first-team. He was grossly overweight and was in danger of being released along with fellow Irishman Keith Foy. The management obviously saw that the creative winger had potential and decided to give him a chance if he worked on his fitness. He then did this, and before long he saw himself become one of Forest's finest assets and one of the best players in this division.
With this talent showcasing his skills on a weekly basis and fans singing his praises, interest came from several Premiership clubs- and this saw Kinnear placing price-tags of up to 10m on him.
"Some of the values placed on my head are ludicrous. I’ve been vastly priced out of a move."
He also lashed out at the club, who recently released the slogan 'We're serious about promotion. Are you?' by saying: "We have shown a lack of ambition in building a squad capable of winning promotion.
"I see myself playing in the Premiership only if I seek a transfer."
