Nottingham Forest 1 v 2 Watford - Match Review.

THE Reds, other than the odd player, can come away from today's game with absolutely no credit. Andy Reid was the man of the match for Forest, with out-of-form David Johnson more donkey-esque than ever. When Taylor's back throw him up-front with Kingy Mr. Tactically-inept... if you're still here!

Match Report: Something is wrong. Whether it be the chairman resigning, Mark Arthur leaving his post as Nottingham Forest chief executive or the sacking of manager Joe Kinnear, there is no doubt that something is badly in need of change. Obviously The Reds on-pitch troubles are down to more than one person, and the troubles are definitely of a deeper cause than the manager being at fault, but honestly what can we lose? If things stay as they are we are going to be going down anyway... so isn't it worth giving something a shot?! After all, it's leaving things that need to be dealt with that got us into this sorry position in the first place! Apparently the club are 'serious about promotion.' Well, whoever the genius that thought up that slogan was, we've been serious since 1998 and now your insulting words have backfired. I don't cal letting our best midfielder go to our local rivals and then replacing him with inexperience being 'serious about promotion,' do you? Well done to whoever it was that echoed our sentiments perfectly with the banner that was placed above the scoreboard towards the end of the second half. This was the second game in a row that you have managed to get it up... unfortunately the ******** that call themselves stewards took all of 5 minutes before telling you to take it down. Watch out lads: better not talk either or I can see a lifetime ban coming your way! Anyway, on to the performance of our beloved Red Army... wait. I apologise... did I say army? What I meant was a group of limp-wristed men who like to call themselves professional footballers yet would be ridiculed and billed scare-dy cats by little three year olds who would cry over a skinned knee! Credit where credits due, though - and there are a small number of players that can come out of the game with a bit of credit. Most notably, Andy Reid. Anybody who says that he doesn't want to play for Nottingham Forest is telling a lie, and we'll let his recent performance do the talking. Even when the rest of the team are cowering and being, generally, lazy ***** (some simply aren't good enough), he puts in as much effort as ever. His vision is immense, and it's amazing that he managed to get past as many players as he did today with the lack of support the rest of our boys gave him. The Visitors: I would give some credit to the Watford boys in another situation... well another season. Yet again we have been convincingly beaten against a side who I still manage to view as poor. Why? Because we are simply so crap that even a piss-poor side could give us a right ol' thrashing! I would also give a mention to the Watford's fans on another day. However, as I sit here writing this whilst depressed and worrying about what the future holds, I can't help but feel a little bitter. Watford were there in good voice, better than I'd expect from a small club like them. They tried, bless them, yet their yellow rendition of "Sit Daarn, Shaat aap' made me, and those around me, cringe. The Ref: Poor as usual. Missed key decisions and even got in the way of one of our attacks! If it wasn't for him I could be telling a different story to you. Some of the challenges that he let go unpunished were as shambolic as The Reds' performance itself, and a few which he did give in our favour were deserving of red cards.
