Timbers come up short again!

The Whitecaps score in the 11th minute and dominate the 1st half of play. Fadi Afash scores the first goal of the season for the Timbers but the Whitecaps come back with the game winner!

Match Report 5/11/03
Timbers fall to the Whitecaps 2-1. the Whitecaps Jason Jordan scored on a header from inside the six in the 11th minute. The goal was set up by a free kick, taken from the right side of the box. That was the score at half time and the Whitecaps controled the half.
      In the second half the Timbers subbed Brasil for Winters a great move! Fadi on a breakaway, dribbled in from 30-plus yards out, no contest puts one in the net. the Whitecaps get the game winner from Morris, in the 65th minute. Jordan with the assist. So the spell the Whitecaps have over the Timbers continue in Vancouver BC.
