Town’s performance today was as dismal as the dull weather conditions.

Sagare comes on too late to make any impression. But he showed movement. The rest of the team showed little movement at times.

Stadhart and Omoyinmi had too much pace for the Town defence. Keister had two great efforts on goal, one saved by the woodwork, the other saved magnificently by Cartwright.

First Half

03 Cullen to Killeeen who taps down for Lee shot saved by keeper Smith.

11 Omoyinmi booked for diving inside box after clumsy challenge by Garnett.

12 First corner for Margate, took Town two attempts to clear.

13 Omoyinmi crossed cleared by Garnett, Leberl tries a thunderbolt from distance, rebounds back off Cartwright’s post.

15 Bushell and Midgley work it nicely, Bushell cross for Killeen who’s header wis blocked by the defender.

20 Bushell cross easily caught by Smith.

21 Keister shot/cross across the face of goal goes wide left.

24 Elam plays back to Cullen who shoots, Lee gets his head on the end of it, goes well wide.

25 Keister receives ball inside Town area unmarked, has time to control the ball, but his shot flies well over the bar.

33 Midgley and Killeen have successive shots cleared.

39 0-1 Sodje rises elegantly to power head home Annon’s free kick from the left. The free kick given after Garnett had deliberately blocked off Omoyinmi.

44 Elam and Cullen have a quick one-two, Elam shot over wide right.

45 A shot from Cullen outside the box blazed over.

Second Half

48 Long range header from Lee saved by keeper Smith. Lee is injured.

53 Weak Midgley cross collected by Smith.

58 Omoyinmi’s pace causes problems as he leaves the last man standing, down the left, but the cross is cleared.

61 Midgley cross for Killeen cleared for Town’s first corner!!! Midgley takes and crosses for Quinn who’s accurate headed is booted (deep) off the goal line by Sodje, when the keeper was beat.

64 A Midgley free kick headed over by Quinn.

65 Sandwith weak cross caught by Smith.

70 Cameron gets a flick on for Killeen , the keeper pulls off a miraculous save diving to his right to tip Killeen’s shot wide of his right post.

73 Carbon copy knock on from Cameron for Mallon, shoots wide left.

77 Midgley plays out wide right for Hockenhull who crosses for Mallon, poor connection goes wide.

78 Good full length diving save from Cartwright top right after Hockenhull’s slip let in Keister for the shot.

82 New boy Jake Sagare heads Sandwith’s cross wide with nearly his first touch since coming on for Cullen.

86 Midgley’s corner is headed by Quinn onto and over the cross bar.
