The Timbers take it to the road in a loss in Vancouver. The loss jets Vancouver to the top of the table and chops the Timbers down in the table.

July 16th Vancouver 1 Portland 0 The Timbers are shut out for the third time in three tries with Vancouver and pushes the Timbers lower in the Table and Vancouver to the top. One goal by Martin Nash is all that Vancouver needed in this one to win the 4 game serries with Portland 3-1.
