Renault F1 transporters arrive in Valencia

Renault F1 transporters arrive in Valencia this week to be ready for the European Grand Prix although the results of the appeal against the penalty race suspension the team received in Hungary.

As the hearing conclusion will be known after the 17th August, it would be too late for the trucks to prepare for the race weekend if they are allowed to race.  

As of this week it is known that the team have let go Brazilian driver Nelson Piquet Jr. and only speculations that the team's third driver Romain Grosjean will take his racing seat but no contract have yet been signed.  It is also learned that Vitaly Petrov, Grojean's GP2 team mate could possibly be the team new third driver. 

As the summer break ends, the team's head factory at Enstone which was closed due to the new rules has started back the work for the coming races.
