Fisi targets Renault for 2007 seat

Roman Giancarlo Fisichella has the ambition of retaining his seat at Renault for 2007. The Italians contract runs out at the end of the season and is hoping to remain with the team that brought him his second race win of his career on his debut for the team

"I am looking at the future, my contract is until 2006 but my target is to be with Renault for a longer period," said Fisichella. "My target is to race with them. The team is happy about last year, they believe in me and I believe in them."

Fisico claims that he and the team have total confidence in each other. "I haven't spoken to Renault about the future. Most of my problem last year was bad luck," " commented Fisi. "I don't need to show anything, I just need to win races. I think the team is just concentrating on winning the championship with two cars."
