Fan Zhiyi for Cardiff

Ex Dundee/China Defender Fan Zhiyi has signed a contract for Cardiff. The Ex Dundee player has been without a club since Christman after refusing to sign a new contract.

Welsh Club Cardiff city have signed Ex Dundee Defender Fan Zhiyi until the end of the season.

Cardiff are hoping the player will extend his stay at the club once his contract is up at the end of the season.

Fan who has had over 100 international appearances for China and Also played in the World Cup during the summer is still to wait for clearance for a work permit.

Fan who refused to sign a new contract with Dundee after a loan spell at Shanghai has been without a club since and has been on trial at a few English clubs since.

Since then the Chinese Defender has been targeting Dundee in the papers saying he wasn't paid his full wage. 

Fan was also involved in some controversy in Glasgow's Chinese Amateur League when he was fighting on the pitch with another team mate since leaving Dundee.

Hopefully now Fan will stop targeting Dundee in the press after the SPL turned his claim down.
