Caniggia Benched against England

Claudio Caniggia has had to stick with being on the bench the former Dundee star will be hoping to play though at some point in the game to prove his worth.
Dundee may only have one player on there books at the world cup but they also have another fan favourite in the tournament.
Former Dundee player and now Rangers player Claudio Caniggia will have to compete with the rest of the players on the bench today to try and get a game.
Argentina are playing England and with only 14 minutes played Batistuta has been booked meaning the could be a sub at half time to avoid Batistuta getting sent off.
Caniggia never started as he's been struggling with an injury for the last few weeks but is fit enough to make the bench.
Argentina manager Bielsa knows that Caniggia can prove vital experience to come on if needed.
Caniggia will be hoping to prove his worth today to prove he is match fit for the later stages of the tournament.
Caniggia was also on the bench on Sunday against Nigeria but never came on because of the good performance of Gabriel Batistuta but Batistuta might get taken off to calm down the fiery game and to give Caniggia a game.
