Lee Wilkie looks set to sign a new two year deal to keep him here until 2006 after a rollercoaster season here at Dundee. Lee Wilkie is said to be delighted at Dens.

Lee Wilkie looks set to sign a two year extension to his contract after a season of Lows and Highs at Dens.

The new Scottish internationalist was out of favour at the start of the season after an arguement with Ivano Bonetti about Lee having a big head.  Lee was then loaned out to clubs such as Plymouth, Notts County and Falkirk. 

Dundee United even tried to sign the player for a mere £25,000 with Dundee wanting at least £50,000.

Lee returned to the team in March after Lee Spoke to Dario Bonetti and asked for 1 more chance.  Ivano was desperate for defenders and played Lee. 

Lee then went on to help Dundee win that game and within a few months after that won his first international cap against South Africa in a Far East tour last month.

Lee played that good in the match that Berti Vogts is wanting to continue with him playing for Scotland in the future.

If Lee signs the 2 year deal it will tie Lee at Dundee until the end of 2006 season.
