It is sad to say but another TV deal could be in ruins by the old firm. This last deal to be offered will be revealed on Wednesday if it goes ahead but the old firm are the old 2 clubs left to agree to the deal from the BBC.Whatever happens we'll find out on Wednesday.Though it could mean a walkout.

There will be a meeting between the Scottish clubs this Wednesday when the SPL clubs discuss a TV deal offer from the BBC.

If the old firm agree to accept the offer from the BBC then the deal could start as soon as possible due to the quickness needed for the deal to be struck to meet this Saturday for the start of the season.

A spokesman has been quoted as saying that the 10 clubs are happy with the deal at the moment and so far there just waiting on the Old Firm getting back to them which remains to be seen if they will.

There has been lots of trouble surrounding this TV deal and it seems everyone but the Old firm had showing there support for a new channel dedicated to the SPL.

After the deal fell down for the SPL TV deal the 10 SPL clubs out with the Old firm gave 2 seasons notice that they would resign from the SPL.

This Wednesday could be a make or break decision if the clubs stay in the league or not.  If the Old firm don't agree we could possibly see the 10 clubs from out with the old firm leaving the SPL maybe even sooner that 2 seasons.

Hopefully for once the Old firm will prove there loyalty to the SPL by agreeing to this deal instead of seeing what suits them best.  Though it is thought if no TV deal is agreed by this weekend that there could be an increase in crowds at the game due to the lack of coverage that will be available by TV and Radio.
