Gavin Rae - Scotland Call up

One question that has been on my mind recently is why Gavin Rae never got called up for Scotland?

This will surly leave Gav Gutted.  Gav who has played a total of 2544 minutes on the pitch for Dundee this season and Scored 6 goals more than some strikers have scored this season you'd think that Gav would be on his way for a call up but not what Berti Vogts has in mind.  Is it due to the reason that Berti Vogts has a good humour and really is still hired by the German FA to make Scotland worse than they really are?  Surly not but why else would he call up Stephen Thomson a player who has a worse appearances to goals ratio in the SPL again such players as Eddie Annand, James Grady and Willie Falconer, Even Gavin has a better scoring ration than Thomson.  So why wasn't Gav called up?

Gavin is a player that today has been linked with Inter Milan and other top Italian and English teams and in the past been linked with top Spain sides and most top side's from within Europe.  A player that if signed for one of them teams could probably make it in the first team.

Ivano said that Gav wasn't picked for the Scotland squad but he will become a very important player in the future.

All I can hope is that its not very long until Gavin Rae gets a Scotland call up.  If Gavin does go which has been hinted by Ivano today I do hope that Gavin remembers where his career stared here at Dundee and acknowledges the club and the staff like the way Claudio Caniggia did this week when he won the CIS cup.

If Gavin does leave which is highly likely the player that Ivano has lined up is no secret the player is Georgian International Midfielder Gochae Jamarauli.  Gochae has 50 caps for Georgia and will make Dundee Georgian contingent bigger.  The Georgian has admitted he wants to join Dundee as soon as his contract runs out with FC Zurich in the summer.  The Georgian has express interest in linking up with Zura, Georgi and Temuri a hint that Temuri may put of moving to Greece for a while
