| Recent Form : Although Queen's have picked up points by virtue of their 2-2 draws away at Elgin and Gretna, they are still rooted down at the bottom of the table although they now move above East Sirlingshire on goals difference. Morton are still moving along nicely and who would bet against them slipping up a gear in the New Year to fulfill their bookies favourites role for the title. They don't always get it their own way of course, and despite hammering the 'Shire 4-1 last week, their leaky defence saw them drop valuable points in the previous games against Gretna and Stirling Albion where they only gained a solitary point from the two matches. | ||||
| Likely Outcome : It's been over 40 years since Queen's last beat Morton in any competitive game and it will be a difficult task indeed for The Spiders to improve on that record tomorrow. Queen's may well create the game's better openings, as indeed they have done for most of the season so far, but expect Morton to take the fewer opportunities that come their way. 2-1 to the Greenock side. | ||||
