Likely Outcome : It's been almost 30 years since Queen's last visited Paisley and it’s a short journey that they should make with some relish because they remain undefeated in their last three visits there. Indeed, whilst St. Mirren will deservedly take the field as strong favourites, they were even more so back then and just look what happened. The last game between the sides was at Love Street on New Year’s Day, 1975 and a 3,000+ crowd saw The Spiders leave their hosts with an almighty hangover as goals from Hugh McGill and Jamie Paton (2) gave Queen’s an emphatic 3-0 victory.

Undefeated in their last five games against “The Buddies”, Queen’s must go into this game with every confidence and there is every chance that they could upset the odds once again. Saints are struggling with an extensive injury list but, even so, may still take their opponents too lightly. Should they do so, a shock could very much be on the cards and Queen’s could just edge through by a single goal. 1-0 to the Glorious Hoops.
