Mathie Signs

Newly promoted Spennymoor’s manager Jamie Pollock quit last week, due to commitments to his successful business venture. The club did not waste any time in appointing a new manager, ex-Newcastle United and Celtic defender Alex Mathie will sign at Brewery Field, and is expected to sign as a player/manager.

Rumours that Assistant Manager Jason Ainsley has left have not been confirmed, as the Brewery Field board are preparing a deal which they hope Jason will accept.
