Woodley steps down

Chairman Tony Woodley stepped down from his role at the club on Saturday and has been replaced by Len Jones.
Tony Woodley has spent over 2 decades at the club and has had to step down because of an increase in work commitments as he has been made general secretary of the Transport and General Workers Union.
Tony Woodley told the Ellesmere Port Pioneer, “I must admit that I’m a little bit sad after 25 years as chairman and manager.”
The club is got a good base for Leonard Jones to build from, Financially secure for a UniBond club, and pushing for promotion.
Vauxhall Motors are trying to become founder members of the Nationwide Conference North Division which is likely to start 2004/5 season.
