Saha Signs 2010 Contract Extension

Louis Saha has signed a contract extension that will see him stay with the club until 2010. The French international has been on impressive form for United so far this season and has made no secret of his delight at extending his current deal.

Louis Saha has penned a contract extension at Old Trafford which will see him stay with the club until 2010.

The 28-year-old joined the club almost three years ago from Fulham in a deal worth a whopping £12.8million.

The French international has struggled with numerous niggling injury problems since his arrival; but finally appears to be maintaining a high level of fitness and has secured himself a regular place within Sir Alex Ferguson's starting XI.

"I am really enjoying my time here. I want to show my commitment to Manchester United and repay the faith that they have shown in me." confirmed Saha; who has netted 36 club goals since moving to the North West from Craven Cottage.

Saha already has eight Premiership goals to his name this season and will be keen to remain in the reckoning for the division's golden boot award this term.
