United fail to hold onto lead as Arsenal grab win.

Wayne Rooney scored an excellent goal to give United a second half lead in a tense encounter at the Emirates stadium. The United following were in good voice and hoping for a nine point lead at the end of the weekend. Goals in the last ten minutes from Van Persie and Henry snatched the win away..

This was my first visit to the Emirates. It is very impressive although with the open style at the top gives the slight impresion of not being finished, however behind the scenes everything is excellent and well organised. The beer was very expensive as was the food - but you expect that in London!

The first half was very cagey with neither side wanting to make a mistake, but United had the better of the match for the first hour. Roonet's gtoal should havesecuredall three points but instead of closing Arsenal down we let them back into the match and they didn't need a second invitation.
