United through to FA Cup semi final....

A penalty, earned and converted by Cristiano Ronaldo, at the Stretford End was just enough to give United victory over a spirited and hard working Middlesbrough team. The win puts United in the semi final for the 25th time, and they will play Watford....

It was pay on the gate in certain parts of the ground but the crowd was still a massive 71,325 on a cold Monday night in Manchester, it wasn't a great game but at this stage of a cup competition a win is a win.....
