Giggs: "We can win the Treble Again"

Ryan Giggs has talked up Manchester United's chances of winning the Treble this season. The Welsh winger feels that the Red Devils can emulate their success in 1999 and win the Premiership, F.A Cup and Champions League this term.

Ryan Giggs is confident that Manchester United can repeat their success of 1999 and win the Treble this season.

 

Having sealed a place in the F.A Cup final and the Champions League semi-final, pundits are talking up United's chances of winning all three major trophies.

 

United also sit three points clear of Chelsea at the top of the Premiership table and boast a superior goal difference to their London rivals, putting Giggs in a confident mood that the Red Devils can bring all three major trophies back to Old Trafford this time around. 

"This team is capable of emulating the 1999 team," said the Welshman.

"We certainly have the ability. Now, it is all about momentum, having a bit of luck and playing well at the right times. Every game is like a cup final for us now. You want to be in that position but unfortunately, for the last two or three years, that has not been the case."

Giggs is one of five survivors from the 1999 Treble winning squad with Gary Neville, Paul Scholes, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Wesley Brown all hoping to repeat the glory of eight years ago.
