Come on Milan!

With the Premiership won and dreams of another Treble well and truly over; an exciting season has come to an end for Manchester United fans. All that is left for us to do is cheer on AC Milan and hope that the Italians can stop the Scousers claiming a sixth continental crown in the final of the 2007 European Cup.

Well, the season is all over for United - we're Premiership champions again and it's been a successful campaign!

Our league success has been overshadowed slightly by the defeat at Wembley; but we mustn't forget that the team has produced a series of scintillating, attacking displays to win back the Premiership crown from boring, big-spending Chelsea.

We can now look forward to the silly season. Transfer speculation, pre-season friendlies, rumours, lies and scandal. But before that we have the little matter of the Football League play-offs and the Champions League final.

All that's left for us to do is don our red and black striped tops, be very bitter and cheer on AC Milan this Wednesday. The Italians gave us something of a footballing lesson at the San Siro; so let's hope they can do the same to the Scousers and stop them, some how, winning a sixth continental crown.
