Giggs Says Farewell as Wales Draw in Stalemate

Ryan Giggs waved goodbye to international football as John Toshack's Wales drew 0-0 with the Czech Republic. The Manchester United star drew the curtain on his international career but he couldn't finish off with a win as the Euro 2008 qualifier ended in stalemate at the Millennium Stadium.

Ryan Giggs made his final appearance for Wales as John Toshack's men drew 0-0 with the Czech Republic.

The United winger made his 64th cap at the Millennium Stadium but an impressive display from the 33-year-old couldn't help Wales record a crucial win.

Substituted in the closing moments, Giggs received a superb standing ovation from the 30,714 fans in Cardiff. He will be remembered as one of the world's greatest players never to play in a major international tournament.

Giggs will now concentrate on club football where he will hope to add to his impressive list of honours with the Red Devils.
