Manchester United have been slapped wih a £25,000 for poor discipline following Saturday's 1-1 draw at White Hart Lane. No less than seven United players were booked as Carlos Tevez's fired home a late equaliser to salvage a point for the Champions. The Football Association impose an automatic fine for any team who get six or more yellow cards in a single game.
Edwin van der Sar, Cristiano Ronaldo, Wes Brown, Nani, Nemanja Vidic, Wayne Rooney and Tevez were all booked during a hot-headed clash in the capital.
If six or more United players are booked in a game again this season, the FA will double the fine to £50,000.
The club, however, will recieve no further punishment after a number of players fiercely challenged the linesman following Tottenham's opening goal.
