New target?

Newspaper reports are linking Manchester United with an unlikely swoop for Barcelona forward Thierry Henry. Speculation suggests that if United fail to land Dimitar Berbatov - they will turn their sights to the £15million-rated Frenchman. A striker remains the club’s top priority on the transfer market this summer.
United's pursuit of Berbatov is reportedly struggling with Spurs anxious not to sell the Bulgarian to another Premier League club.
The tabloid press are now claiming that Henry has emerged as a possible target for the Red Devils.
A return to England would surprise many - with the 30-year-old having such strong affinity with Arsenal. He spent nearly eight years in North London - netting 174 league goals - and was so often a thorn in United's side.
Henry joined Barcelona for £16.1million last June but has struggled to settle at the Nou Camp. He was the Catalan club's top scorer last season with 19 strikes - but speculation about his future has been rife since the turn of the year.
