New lad Tosic hoping to adjust quickly

New Manchester United signing Zoran Tosic is hopeful that he'll be ready for Premier League action in the near future. The versatile left-winger, who will wear shirt number fourteen, hopes that fellow Serb Nemanja Vidic will help him adjust to life in England’s top-flight.

Tosic joined United from with Partizan team-mate Adem Ljajiæ in a deal rumoured to be worth £16.3million.

Sir Alex Ferguson said that Tosic would be given time to adapt before being handed his debut, but the player is hopeful that he'll be ready for action very soon.

"It's a great feeling to be here, but now I'm only thinking how to adjust to the Premier League as soon as possible." said the 21-year-old.

"Nemanja Vidic's presence will be of immense help as we now each other well from the national team. I am absolutely confident and ready to learn fast and I hope the manager will be able to count on me soon."
