Ryan Giggs has dropped a big hint that this season could be his last in professional football. The Welshman is out-of-contract at the end of the current campaign and the player admits that retirement is a possibility. The 35-year-old has made more appearances than any United player in history, having featured 771 times to date.

Giggs is the most decorated player in the history of British football - boasting an incredible collection of medals.

The Cardiff-born winger has won 10 Premier League crowns, two European Cups, four F.A Cups, two League Cups, an Intercontinental Cup and a FIFA World Club Cup. He's also won the Community Shield on seven occasions and picked up a Uefa Super Cup medal in 1991.

Giggs will be hoping to add a further four medals to his list this season as the Red Devils continue on their quest to ‘do the impossible' and win all five major trophies. However, the player has dropped a big hint that this season could be his last.

He said: "I will keep playing as long as I enjoy it, I am fit and the manager wants me. If one of those three things stops, I will consider retiring. It could be at the end of this season."
