United to compete in July Audi Cup

Manchester United will journey to Munich for part of their pre-season preparations this summer to compete in the Audi Cup. The competition is hosted by German giants Bayern Munich, with Boca Juniors and AC Milan also set to be involved in the four-team, knock-out format competition. The two-day tournament kicks-off on July 29th.

The draw for the tournament has already taken place - with United set to do battle with Boca in the semi-finals.

Hosts Munich will take on AC Milan, with a third-place play-off and the grand finale to follow the next day.

The tournament is taking place to celebrate the centenary of the Audi car brand whom enjoy a strong affiliation with Bayern.

Unless United face Bayern in this season's Champions League, the tournament will mark our first action at the Allianz Arena. The cracking stadium, opened in 2005, is home to both Munich clubs and has a 69,901 capacity including a terraced area.

you can get them on bayern website however its better if u know german

I've returned to the messageboard after years in exile!!
How would my wife react if I suggested Germany for the hols this year then? We've never been to Munich. Not my fault if MUFC happen to be in town, is it?!?!

there are a lot worse places to go UNI-TED. Munich and Bavaria in general is well worth a visit. The Weiss beer is worth it alone...80 micro brewery's and counting

Im selling a couple of spare tickets on seatwave which seated on the lower tier, they are only 15.99 each and you don't need to pay international postage from Germany to UK, as these tickets have already arrived (I am based in London, UK). If you fancy them log into Seatwave.com.
P.S There are others selling these tickets at a higher price but the holders are based in Germany! Good luck in getting tickets in any case.
