Manchester United won the 2007/2008 Champions League without losing a single game. Sir Alex Ferguson’s Red Devils picked up a whopping 16 points from their six group games before brushing aside Lyon, Roma and Barcelona in the knock-out stages before beating Chelsea in the final by virtue of penalty-kicks in Moscow. Cristiano Ronaldo was United’s top European scorer with eight strikes.
