Towering striker Nwankwo Kanu is optimistic that his Portsmouth side can cause an upset at Old Trafford on Wednesday evening. The south-coast club are on the verge of sealing Premier League survival after a difficult season and will know that three points at Old Trafford should secure their spot in England's top-flight for next season.
United will be desperate to bounce back from Sunday's huge disappointment and claim a big-win over Portsmouth.
Portsmouth ended United's interest in last season's F.A Cup when they claimed a 1-0 win at the Thearte of Dreams. Rio Ferdinand ended up playing between the sticks as a penalty separated the two sides.
Liverpool host Arsenal on Tuesday evening - and will be looking to leap-frog United and go top of the table ahead of Wednesday's game.
Kanu believes his side can claim an unlikely win at Old Trafford and really shake up this season's title race.
"We are not scared of going to United," said the Nigerian international.
"We’re not scared of playing against any team. We will go there and do our best and hopefully win. I won the title with Arsenal there and we won there in the FA Cup last season, so is Old Trafford my lucky ground? Maybe we shall find out on Wednesday.”
