Kaka in, Ronaldo to leave?

The Sun have published a sensational report claiming Manchester United have held discussions with Kaka's representatives about a move to Old Trafford. Rivals Manchester City had an incredible £103million bid accepted for the player in January before the player wisely decided against joining the Eastlands club.
The Sun claims that United met with Kaka's agent to discuss a move which would see the player earn £135,000-per-week at Old Trafford. Isn't that technically not even legal anyway?
It's
difficult to believe this speculation. There's no way United would splash out
the kind of fee that AC Milan would demand for Kaka. Manchester City
have set the benchmark after their farcical £103million bid - and that surely
isn't a figure that Sir Alex Ferguson or the Glazer family would be willing to
match.
The only way the club could surely close to funding the deal is if Cristiano Ronaldo parted company with the club over the summer. Though the player insists he is now happy in the North West, speculation continues linking the versatile winger with Real Madrid.
Kaka has fuelled the speculation by praising United highly: "They have some great players in Giggs and Scholes and especially Wayne Rooney.
"One of my best friends, Anderson, is also there - how can anyone say no? They are the English and European champions and a great club to play for."

P.S. Kaka is a christian, what a nice addition that could bring to the likes of Rooney who seriously have an attitude problem other then calm and collecting Kaka.

kaka is no replacement for ronaldo. we bring him in and we got a great AM but lack a quality wide man. If i had to make the decision I'd say thanks but no thanks. Thats how highly i rate that diving winker. This lad is one of a kind while good AMs are almost a dime a dozen.
Firstly, Redlyn i agree with you. Good attacking midfielders are a dime a dozen. BUT Kaka isnt a good attacking midfielder. He is the best in the world. Simple and straight.
But he is a central player, whereas Ronaldo is a wide player first and foremost.
Ok so we sell Ronaldo, make a load of money.
We buy Kaka and spend a load of money.
We strengthen an area i have previously called for, but massively weaken another.
Kaka coming in is fine, as long as he isnt alone.
We will need another player to accompany him, a wide player.
Frank Ribery fitting the bill in my opinion.
But on another side to the story. And i know i will probably get screamed at by the Arsenal lads who come here havin a debate.
Cesc Fabergas came out and aditted, in a long winded detailed way, his admiration etc for Manchester United, the players the club.
Wonder if he is making a subtle suggestion to SAF that he would like to come to us?
Personally, Fabergas has settled into english football like i settle into a pint and a pie at the game. Like a fish to water.
He would be absolutly awesome, whereas Kaka might not fit in, gel, like english football...etc
