Lee Martin sold to Keano's Tractor Boys

Manchester United have parted company with Lee Martin with the midfielder sold to Championship outfit Ipswich. The 22-year-old has struggled to break into the first-team and will be hoping to make a name for himself in Suffolk next season.

Martin will link-up with former United legend and current Ipswich boss Roy Keane at Portman Road.

The youngster has signed a four-year deal with the Tractor Boys and joins the club for an undisclosed fee.
 
The ex-Wimbledon youth player has struggled for first-team opportunities at Old Trafford and leaves the club having made just three United appearances. His only league appearance was when a massively weakened United side beat Hull on the last day of last season's Premier League campaign.

The versatile attacker has enjoyed loan spells at Royal Antwerp, Rangers, Stoke, Plymouth, Sheffield United and Nottingham Forest and will be confident of making a big impact at Championship level.

Was fantastic for the reserves at the end of last season, even though he was out of position as a makeshift striker. He'll do well at Ipswich and I believe he has the quality to make it in the premierleague one day.

Good luck him. He will amke a good Premieship footballer, just need to play regularly.
