Manchester United youngster Scott Moffatt has joined neighbours Altrincham on a one-month loan deal. The 18-year-old made his debut for the Conference club during Monday’s 1-1 draw at home to Chester and played the full ninety minutes.

Moffatt has recently returned to action following an 18-month spell on the sidelines.

The teenager's career was left threatened by a knee injury, but he is back in action and will be hoping to impress at Moss Rose.

The player made his Alty debut on Monday evening, playing the full ninety minutes at right-back in a score draw with troubled club Chester.
