Little United claim a last-gasp 4-3 win of their own

Just two weeks after the Reds’ stunning win over City, Little United claimed a similar victory themselves. Popular frontman Carlos Roca grabbed a last-gasp winner as FC United of Manchester fought back to beat high-flying Stockbridge Park Steels 4-3.
Karl Marginson's Red Rebels missed out on the Northern Premier League play-offs on the last day of last season's campaign, and fans were hoping that FC would push for automatic promotion to the Conference North this time around.
However, the Rebels have enjoyed an inconsistent start to the new campaign and entered this weekend's clash with on-form Stocksbridge sitting in lower mid-table and without a league win in four.
1,888 were at Gigg Lane - and the majority looked like going home unhappy as Stocksbridge led 3-1 with fifteen minutes remaining. Roca had fired the Reds ahead after only five minutes from the penalty spot, but the visitors bagged two goals before the break and extended their lead further three minutes after the interval.
However, Ben Deegan quickly got FC back into proceedings - and the fans were treated to a late comeback that Sir Alex Ferguson's men would be proud of. The excellent Jerome Wright bagged the equaliser with a quarter-of-an-hour to go, before Roca struck at the death to steal a precious victory.
The result takes FC up to 13th in the table, five points behind the play-off pack. Next up is a home clash with Nantwich before Stalybridge Celtic visit Gigg Lane in an F.A Cup third qualifying round tie.
