United-bound Hernandez bags Mexico brace

Manchester United's new frontman Javier Hernandez bagged two goals as Mexico cruised to a 5-1 international friendly win over Gambia. The young striker will officially join United on July 1st and has been on mouth-watering form for his country ahead of this summer's World Cup finals.

The diminutive Mexican continues to look an excellent swoop for United as he netted another two goals for Mexico on Sunday.

The youngster bagged his country's first two goals as they stormed to an easy 5-1 win over a defensively-poor Gambia. Herrera Bautista and Medina completed the scoring for Mexico.

Hernandez's goals have helped Mexico in their epic run of pre-World Cup friendly matches.

The win over Mexico marked the seventh of eight scheduled friendly matches; with the South Americans suffering recent losses to England and the Netherlands.
