United midfielder Anderson has been linked with a move away from Old Trafford. The Brazilian youngster has often been earmarked as one of the club's brightest prospects - but has perhaps failed to live up to early expectations.
Goal shy Anderson joined the club from Porto for a fee rumoured to be in the region of £18million.
He was hailed as an excellent prospect for the future - but has failed to fulfil expectations since making the switch to Old Trafford.
Anderson has bagged only a single Red Devils goal and, earlier this season, was linked with a loan move to Lyon amid reports of a fall-out with Sir Alex Ferguson.
Fresh speculation now suggests that 5"9 Anderson could move to a top-flight French club, with United prepared to cut their losses on the combative Brazilian midfielder.
Marseille, Lyon and Paris St Germain are all believed to have expressed an interest in the 22-year-old.
Anderson is currently sidelined with a knee ligament injury which could put off any move until September.

Keep him.
Anderson is a fringe player in my opinion. No more or less and the CM should be the most competetive position on the field as it is the engine room. I just dont see him being as good as Fletcher. Will he ever be close to a Roy Keane? Doubtful. But, as i have reitirated many times. A Roy Keane is what this team is DYING for. The engine man who is just a class above the rest.
Anderson is not that man imo.
Back to Anderson.Central midfield is the powerhouse of the team.Any team.To be the best, whoever is there has to be 'at it'all of the time.Anderson, from what I have seen, is' at it' some of the time.At this level & for the money these guys are being paid, that is nowwhere near enough.
Remember, both Anderson & Nani were bought over three years ago.Idea was to replace Giggs & Scholes.Ok...not a bad strategy.Bring in a couple young guys to replace two legends, whilst they (Giggs & Scholes)are still around.Eventually they will be replaced & we will have a smooth transition.Fergie has done it sooooo many times before & don't we know it.
All well & good, but unfortunately,it hasn't worked out that way.Three yearslater(now going onto four)look where we are.Throughout 09-10 Fergie turned to the Giggs & Scholes combination.Bit of Nani.Bit of Anderson.Ok,to be fair Anderson was injured half way through the season & Nani had some good games. However, when it came down to it, who was really going to be trusted to do the business?Couple of 22 year olds or a couple of 34 year olds?Inevitably Giggs & Scholes got the nod & weren't we all grateful for it.This was not the way it was planned to work out,but it is the way that it ended up.
Worringly, unless something changes between now & August, that is how it will stay.We also have some other player/quality issues).I have said it before, but this team/squad has overperformed.Credit to'em, but I feel that the future will be a whole lot more difficult.Hope I am wrong.
