Gyan to join Utd?

Manchester United have been linked with a swoop for Ghanaian free agent King Osei Gyan. The youngster has been released by Fulham amid speculation of work permit complications.

Sir Alex Ferguson and a host of other Premier League managers are rumoured to be monitoring Gyan's situation closely.

The young midfielder has been released by Fulham with rumours suggesting that the London club have encountered problems in securing a work permit for the promising midfielder.

Ryan has been on loan with Belgian club Germinal Beerschot since 2007 in order to gain EU citizenship so Fulham's decision to release him from his contract comes as a surprise.

Fergie is rumoured to be looking at the issues surrounding Gyan's work permit situation and could launch a move to snap up the free agent.

New Scousers boss Roy Hodgson could also move for Gyan, while Arsene Wenger is thought to be interested in making a move.

King has one international cap for Ghana which he picked up in a friendly international against Tanzania in 2008.
