Manchester United cruised to an easy 3-0 win over newly promoted Newcastle with Paul Scholes in magnificent form. The scoreline does not flatter the reds who dominated the game but were guilty of wasting loads of posession in the Newcastle box. Goals from Berbatov, Fletcher and Giggs(coming on as a sub) secured the points in front of a crowd of over 75,000.
