Having kept a clean sheet, goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar was content with a point after United. The Dutchman also highlighted United’s “solid” defensive display after the spoils were shared in North London.
The
result took United back to the top of the Premier League on goal difference with rivals Manchester City dropping to second.
Van Der Sar was satisfied with the result and paid tribute to United’s
defensive display, particularly after finishing the game with a numerical disadvantage following Rafael's red card.
The veteran said: "We had to be solid today and we showed a good defensive
display”.
He added: ”We didn't play as well as we could. That is a complement for
Tottenham.
”It’s an okay result for us, especially finishing the game with 10-men.
Overall, I am happy with a point”.

hahaha f**kin ha dont make me laugh, you mean solid performance from Vidic
He and Rafa were the only good players on the pitch, and I believe its because our midfield played so bad that rafa got sent
Stalworth performance once again.
I thought Rafael played very well, he's doing better by the game, didnt deserve that victimisation from the ref though, scandalous bookings, the firstmaybe, the second a definite no no.
If we can claim the 19th title playing so badly imagine next season when we find our form again...
My boycott has now officially ended - after going to the liverpool game last week I am next going to the villa game on 1st Feb. You knew it wouldn't last didn't you....
C'mon United!
