Dimitar Berbatov produced a sensational return as Manchester United smashed Birmingham City 5-0 at Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon. The Bulgarian produced a man-of-the-match display, including a memorable hat-trick, as United maintained their unbeaten league record in style.

Giggs was also in sensational form as United took their points tally to 48, two
points ahead of nearest challengers Arsenal.
The deadlock was broken inside two minutes as Berbatov headed home, before
doubling the advantage on the half-hour mark after capitalising on a Roger
Johnson error.
Welshman Giggs made it three on the stroke of half-time as United produced a
masterclass of football – something they have been accused of failing to do
this season.
Berbatov turned home a Giggs cross to bag his hat-trick eight minutes after the
break, before Nani's effort completed the rout.
United return to action on Tuesday evening against Lancashire rivals Blackpool,
before travelling to the south coast to play Southampton in the fourth round of
the Cup.
