It's Cup Week
By Roger O'Brien
February 19 2011
After the sensational derby win last weekend the players have a rest without any midweek fixtures and now face an FA cup tie v non league Crawley on Saturday evening at Old Trafford before travelling to France to face Marseilles in the Champions League. Sir Alex will use the FA Cup tie to make some changes but hopefully the team selected will not slip up in the ITV televised fixture.
Sir Alex said - "We respect the fact that Crawley are the best non-League side for quite a while. They seem to have a lot of money invested in their players and are near the top of the league, so their games in hand will probably see them promoted to the league proper. There is always room for ambition and they could do well when they get into the Football League, given the kind of money they have behind them and the ambition they have got."
Kick off 5.15 Saturday - live on ITV 1.

An expectedly weaker line up with the coming games, Paul Pogba is amongst the subs. Interesting to see both the da Silva twins in the same match, cant remember if they have played together before for us, or at least started together
Games now 5 mins old and no real chances as yet, this will be a test for our squad players because Crawley have nothing to lose, especially away from home
On the pitch we were shocking and once again the fringe players failed to rise to the plate - we have little strength in depth outside the first 15 or 16 players I fear.
Still we won and are through to the last 8 which is more than can be said for many others!
. Both absolutely dreadful. I honestly don't see what Fergie sees in them. Obertan is very quick but he can't pass, cross, shoot, dribble or control a football. Has he improved at all in his time here? Bebe is trying his hardest to show the crowd that yes, you can be worse than Obertan.
Considering Tosic never got a chance here and is a Serbian international, is now first choice for CSKA, and is a dead ball and crossing specialist then how do these two jokers get more game time than he ever did?
This is where we are really missing Park and Valencia. Cleverley's return can't come soon enough either!
Obertan and Bebe have shown no signs of improvement nor have they convinced anyone that they will ever become worthy of the first team, time to ship them out and give players like Cleverly a deserved chance
shocking abysmal embarrassing.... some of the words that could be used to describe that game.
i do worry so for the future
