United and City journey south to Wembley

Manchester will be a little emptier on Saturday as United and City fans descend on Wembley for the FA Cup semi-final. The Red Devils will be hoping to keep their Treble dreams alive, but face a huge test against big-spending, bitter rivals City.

Roberto Mancini has focussed a lot on City's long, long trophy drought in the build-up to this crucial fixture. The Citizens have not won major honours since 1976 but will be hoping to end the long wait in the FA Cup this year. United will have other ideas. The Red Devils, remarkably, could still win the Treble and travel to Wembley top of the league and in the Champions League semi-finals. Paul Scholes kicked-off the mind games during the week by claiming City are not United's biggest rivals, but the Red Army will be under no illusions of the magnitude of Saturday's task. United will be without the suspended Wayne Rooney for the 5.15pm kick-off. Meanwhile, Jonny Evans is suspended and Darren Fletcher is unavailable through injury. The most notable absentee for City is former Red Carlos Tevez. Stoke City and Bolton Wanderers do battle in the weekend's other semi-final.
