Barcelona boss heaps praise on United squad

Pep Guardiola has heaped praise on Manchester United as the Red Devils move within one point of another Premier League title. The Barcelona boss will lock horns with Sir Alex Ferguson at Wembley later this month in the 2011 Champions League final.

United moved within a single point of a 19th league championship with a 2-1 victory over Chelsea on Sunday afternoon. In the aftermath of United's crucial victory, Guardiola has hailed United's squad as an "extraordinary" set of players. "They have a great squad," he said. "They played a Champions League semi-final with a team of full reserves and they won 4-1. "That says everything you need to know about the quality they have". Guardiola, a potential contender to succeed Sir Alex, was speaking in the build-up to the 2011 Champions League final, which will see United take on Barca at Wembley.

We do have the likes of Michael "i dont get my kit dirty" Carrick and Owen "pay me to sit on my ares for a few years" Hargreaves on our books, along with Michael "pay me if i play, which i dont" Owen..... true quality and strength in depth....
