Summer break and some farewells...

2011 the year we finally became the most successful club in terms of domestic honours and league titles. More FA Cup and more league titles than any other club and despite failing to lift another European crown we can look forward to next season with optimism and hope. Some old friends have decided to retire...

Gary Neville left during the season and will be followed by Paul Scholes, both take a sackful of medals into their retirements. Owen Hargreaves has been released and other players will have to prove themselves in the coming months. Have a good summer - it all starts again v city in the Community Shield at Wembley in early August.
