Gareth Bale praises Ashley Young & David De Gea

Ahead of Monday evening's Premier League clash between United and Tottenham Hotspur, Spurs' Gareth Bale has singled out praise for two of United's top summer signings. The Welshman is sure to play a key role for Spurs as they look to upset the odds at Old Trafford.

Bale is full of confidence as Spurs enter the game on the back of a comfortable 5-0 Europa League win at Hearts.

However, he says that United have made some "great signings" over the summer and has singled out two in particular.

Bale said: "Ashley Young has done well over the years for Villa and he’ll be a great addition to the squad. The keeper is world-class, I’m sure he’ll prove that.

“But we want to test him and we’ll go to Old Trafford, give our all and try to test the whole team. We go into every game looking to win it.”

Should De Gea play against Spurs, he will be desperate to put in a good shift after high-profile errors against Manchester City and West Brom.

Winger Young has enjoyed a better start to life at Old Trafford and will be looking to continue his rich vein of form against Harry Redknapp's North Londoners.
