Old Firm derby 'ten times bigger' than United v Liverpool

Controversial forward El-Hadji Diouf has claimed that the Old Firm derby is "10 times bigger" than matches between Manchester United and Liverpool. The Senegalese international is eager to return to Ibrox following a loan spell with Glasgow Rangers last season.
Diouf has been told by Blackburn Rovers that he is unlikely to feature in the club's plans this season, leaving the versatile striker desperate for a return to Glasgow Rangers.
Speaking about the importance of the Old Firm derby, he said: “Celtic against Rangers is 10 times better than Liverpool against Manchester United.
"The Old Firm game is the number one game in the world. What I feel about this game I have never felt in my life. On the pitch it is like a war, but beautiful. A good war."
Diouf failed to make a significant impact at Liverpool following a ten million pound move to Anfield, scoring only three goals in 55 league appearances.
He has expressed his desire to move to Ibrox and challenge for major honours with the Scottish giants, adding: "I don’t want to go somewhere where I am fighting a relegation battle.
"I’d rather be fighting to win a title again like last year when I won with Rangers.
"It is a big team, I enjoyed winning the title and making a lot of fans happy.
"I want Rangers to win the title again this season because Coisty (Ally McCoist) is a good guy."
In March 2011, Diouf was part of the Rangers team that won the Scottish League Cup with a 2-1 victory over Celtic.
