As sections of the media continue to describe this year's Premier League as a three-horse race, United forward Wayne Rooney has refused to rule out either Chelsea or Arsenal's championship credentials. The London duo currently sit 11 and 15 points behind leaders Manchester City respectively.
Ahead of Sunday's massive clash at Arsenal, Rooney has refused to rule either the Gunners or Chelsea out of the title race.
With United and Spurs leading the chase of league leaders Manchester City, media outlets have labelled this year's contest as a three-horse race.
Arsene Wenger's men sit 5th in the league table and are 15 points off the pace, whilst fourth-placed Chelsea trail Man City by 11 points.
However, Rooney believes both team's have the ability to put together a winning run which could lead either club to add to their tally of league championships.
Speaking to the BBC, the England international said: "I certainly wouldn't write Arsenal off, they're capable of going on a big run.
"You can't write them or Chelsea off.
"It's great for the league that there are so many teams that can win it."
Spurs' title credentials will be seriously tested on Sunday as they travel to Eastlands to face City, before Sir Alex Ferguson does battle with old foe Wenger in North London.
