Manchester City are big favourites with the bookmakers to win the Premier League title following their victory over United on Monday evening. Roberto Mancini's men top the table on goal difference with two matches remaining of the league campaign.
The best price available on Manchester City winning the league title is now 1/2 after Mancini's side claimed a 1-0 victory over the Red Devils on Monday evening.
Vincent Kompany's header settled the derby on the stroke of half-time as City leap-frogged United to go top of the Premier League table.
United, who face Swansea City and Sunderland in their remaining league games, can be backed at 2/1 to go back top of the table for the end of the season.
City have not won the league championship since 1968. United finished second that year, but also won the European Cup.
Sir Alex Ferguson will be hoping Newcastle United can do him a big favour on the weekend. The Champions League hopefuls entertain City in the North East, and could have a big say in the destination of the league championship.
