Here we go again! New season begins at Goodison

Manchester United and Everton clash on Monday evening in the final game of the opening weekend of the 2012-13 Premier League season. After two days of shocks and high scoring matches the eyes of the football world will be on Goodison Park as two of the oldest clubs in the world clash in this Lancastrian derby.
Robin van Persie will make his debut tonight in what should be an entertaining game. Vidic should return but Rio Ferdinand and Chris Smalling along with Phil Jones are all injured.
Kick off 8pm live on Sky Sports.

Poor performance generally, a makeshift defence and a new formation capped off a really bad start for us. So much for coming back strong this year, this 'squad' will need time to get their act together and unless they get it right quickly its next season we will be looking to.

Disappointing start to the season, injury ravaged back line didn't help. Nani and Evra were brutal, Rooney looked out of sorts but then again, supply was limited. Two brightest points though, De Gea looked bang on form and Kagawa looks a right gem, didn't step a foot wrong! Feilaini proved too hard to mark/defend. Well done Everton, deserved victory. Side note; I still hate Michael Carrick.

Poor performance all round apart from De Gea and Kagawa, as you said Brian.
Time is needed to gel together, but I am absolutely thrilled about the Kagawa signing. Not that I am not about the Van Persie signing but that is a given. You'd think Berbatov's time is up and really, he's the one to give way because Hernandez and Welbeck are surely in front of him.
